This guide covers setting up access to Managed Desktop 2017 using an Apple iPhone or iPad.


First, download the Microsoft Remote Desktop application from the App Store.

Search Remote Desktop.

The application is a free download.  Once the application is installed, open the application.



When the application opens, press on the + icon to add a new connection to the client.


In the Add New screen, press on Remote Resources.


On the next screen, press on Email address or URL


Enter in the following URL: https://rdwa.virtual-apps.net/rdweb/feed/webfeed.aspx 

Press Done in the top right corner.

Now press on User Account


Press on Add User Account


Enter your Managed Desktop username and Password

Press Save

On the next screen, press on Find Feed


The application will contact the Managed Desktop servers and pull down the configuration.


Once the configuration is downloaded, press on Desktops

You should now see a connection to Managed Desktop in the application.

You can now use this connection icon to connect to Managed Desktop.
